dissection!

I'd like to correct the correction which I previously corrected. *clears throat* I DON'T think photobucket is having any problems. Actually, they might. But I've got a Mac, and apparently Macs are more virus prone. So basically I currently don't have an excuse to NOT use my blog. *sigh*

ANYWAY, that's irrelevant.

Anyway, in Biology I've been dissecting things. WEEKLY! Some high schoolers groan and complain and maybe even choke themselves before cutting open a frog or a grasshopper. I find it relaxing. probably because of my morbidly cute sense of humor. I may be the only kid who says "AWWW!!! look at the cute little brain!". The best thing is I'm in a class with nine boys and no girls and I'm the one who's most excited about butchering small animals.
Well, at least I think... I'm a natural spaz. Every friday I take in my camera, Ernesto. (Yes, I named my camera Ernesto. He's, like, my best friend!!!) And I take plenty of vivid pictures.

This is Walter. (Yes, I name my victims.) As you can see, he's a worm...

I love making everything look like a horror film. I actually know how to make intestines out of sausage and jelly...

this is Graham. The grasshopper...

poor Graham...

This is Jaques. (Ya know, like the one from finding nemo? yeah...)

I'm never going to red lobster again....

and last but not least, this is Frankie. idn't he a cutie?

May they all rest in pieces...

Next week I'm dissecting a pig. I'll be naming him Kevin Bacon! (clever, eh?... no? ok...) look out for that! Something tells me he's gonna be REEEEALLLY cute! (Ya know, because pigs are always cute!)

I spoke too soon...

uh, remember when I said a few days ago that I was going to get into funny pictures I found on the internet and post them here. heh. apparently photobucket has a stupid worm crawling it's way around the site. so... out of fear it'll eat my computer, I will be avoiding that site. which really makes me sad, since I have a lot of my favorite pictures on there, and not all of them are on my desktop... so... yeah. I'll try to find something interesting to post in the next few days. but not likely. I have to go memorize Shakespeare. -.- *dies*

I'm back from the grave...

I haven't been on here forEVER!!!!! O_O because of my dull life. So you missed Christmas and my sweet sixteen! (I use this term very loosely. my older brother ate my piece of ice cream cake.) and, because of my dull life, I really don't think I have the ability to blog about things that go on. maybe occasionally. so I'll just post very random stuff I find that makes me laugh.

here's something I found at the local college last week. I just love fail pictures!

look what I can do!

holy crow, it's been a while! I'm so sorry I haven't been able to write, all you imaginary people who read my blog!
I found a new way to occupy myself! (sort of.) I've mastered the art of avatar making!
what the heck is an avatar? is it contagious?
no, it's a small square icon people use on forums, blogs, and networking sites. they're usually a little picture with words on them.
here are some I made:

aren't they adorable? and they were so easy to make!

am I and Artiste, or what?

check out the similarity!
I have reconstructed "starry starry night" by van goh entirely out of cupcakes! it took 24 cupcakes and 2 and a half cans of frosting, and a whole bunch of food coloring. and I got the decorating done in less than an hour! how cool am I?

Caitlin and Kelly. er, Kelly and Caitlin.

hey, everybody! I just found this hot new band!
and I know them!

they're Kelly and Caitlin, or maybe it's Caitlin and Kelly...

can't quite remember which...

but they're absolutely awesome! they've both got beautiful voices and mad guitar skillz! I heard them play at a coffee house on Saturday, and I must say, I am now a big fan! I'm not entirely sure what their websites name is, but once I know, it'll be here.

in the meantime, here is a video to watch:

sorry, but the video might be a little dark. coffee shop lighting. psh.

wandering around Amish country...

thanks to insane amounts of cleaning and busy-ness (*cough* laziness *cough*) I was un-able to make a post about my excursion last saturday. I went to Amish country! all you big-city folks are probably choking right now. I can hear your distant screams. "AMISH COUNTRY?!?! EXCURSION???!? how crazy ARE these hoosiers?!? Is this why you guys are in 'flyover country'?"

I pity the fools.

it was really quite fun! up north their are these cute little gardens planted to look like quilts scattered throughout elkhart county. me, my mom, and my grammy all went to check it out. (that is TERRIBLE grammar, I know. I told you. I am NOT well about grammar.) We started out at a cute little amish store, where my mom bought a boatload of cinnamon sticks on the cheap. then we headed to a cute little town to a dime store and bought some vintage gum. we then had breakfast at a cute little coffee house. I ordered a luscious giant cinnamon roll absolutely SMOTHERED in buttercream frosting that still makes my mouth water. I also had some chai tea.

I love chai tea.

I just love it.
afterwards we went through the nappanee library.

this was an actual library within a library!

me and my grammy.

pace? what pace? there's no traffic! (lol, just kidding)

what we came for. look! it's a basket!

Philip Diller, the rooster.

wow. this hand-dryer sure did boost my self esteem. (sarcasm, sarcasm.)

we then went to the old bag factory. a small little mall of expensive boutiques.

needless to say, I didn't buy anything.

old train stuff in the old bag factory.

me and my family LOVE the show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. (or triple D.) we love all the cool down-home restaurants they go to. we love Guy Fieri, and all his quirky sayings. it's a really good show.

impertinent? random? I don't think so.

after the old bag factory we just had to find someplace to eat. we were scared to death that this little soda shop would be closed. it's been around for a while, and we didn't know whether it had survived. but it was opened. I said, as I got out of the car "this looks like one of those places they'd go to on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives!" for it was a cute old fashioned Diner type place.
on the door there was a little sticker with the food network logo. it said "as seen on food network."

"no way..." I thought.

inside there were lots of pictures from the show "Diners, Drive-ins, and dives". my mom almost fell over.

this is where you get your ice cream. I had grilled cheese and fries, and a strawberry milkshake. it was bananas! (bananas is good.)

was that a money trip, or what?
